Welcome to Kanalhuset! You will find us along Christianshavn Canal on Ovengaden Oven Vandet in the yellow building from the year 1755. With a view of the canal and the high masts, we will create a place where you feel welcome and at home. Under our roof you will find a small boutique hotel, large and small meeting rooms, hotel apartments and a local eatery. Here we offer today's meal. In the basement there are 12 hotel rooms in varying sizes, where the characteristic surroundings with ceiling beams and limestone walls form the framework for the guest's visit to Copenhagen. In addition, there are 14 hotel apartments on the other floors of the house for those guests who want to stay here for a longer period. In addition to what we have behind our four walls, it is important for us to introduce our guests to the Copenhagen we know, and make your visit a holistic experience. We believe that if you give the best of yourself, you get the same thing again, and we put that into everything we do.

Good to Know

When you order our free cancellation price, you can change or cancel your reservation free of charge until the day before arrival at 12.00.
The room does not have to be prepaid, but reserved by credit card.
You pay for your stay at check-in.
Breakfast is exclusive in the price and can be purchased additionally

When you book a fully prepaid, non-refundable stay, your card will be charged immediately. The payment is non-refundable, and the reservation cannot be changed or exchanged.

As a hotel guest at Kanalhuset, you are
welcome to participate free of charge in the house's activities, such as yoga,
knitting club, running club, morning singing and morning bathing in the canal.

All our hotel rooms are located in the basement.
Children under three years old can stay for free if they sleep in their parents' bed. A baby cot costs DKK 250.00 per night.

An extra bed costs DKK 400.00 per night. It is not possible to add an extra bed, and there is no space for a baby cot in the small rooms.

If you book an apartment or room for 2 people and would like separate beds, this can be arranged by contacting us prior to your stay for an additional cost

There is no TV or electric cooker in our rooms

There is no air conditioning at Kanalhuset

Smoking and Vapor
Is not allowed to smoke or use vapor at Kanalhuset
Violation of this will have an additional payment of 5000 DKK

Pets are not allowed in the hotel.

Restaurant:
Our restaurant is open daily from 7.00 - 22/24.00 and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the bar you can enjoy a good cup of coffee, drinks and wine.
