Located in the heart of the majestic Kitzbühel Alps, SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental offers an unforgettable winter experience with world-class skiing. With over 90 modern lifts, this is one of Austria's largest and most recognized ski areas.
Our charming hotel is centrally located in the small village of Itter, on a sun-drenched plateau with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel is just three minutes from the ski lifts, which you can easily reach with the free ski bus.
In the summer, the area offers a wealth of activities, and the local outdoor swimming pool is right across from the hotel – perfect for a refreshing dip.
At Edelweiss, we welcome everyone who wants a cozy base for their mountain holiday. You can even rent the entire place for special events, corporate trips, sports groups, or parties. Do you have an idea for a themed week or another fun event? Don’t hesitate to contact us at info@hoteledelweiss.eu.
We have plenty of space and a locked garage, so you are welcome to bring your own sports equipment, but please note that the hotel dates back to the 1950s when it was originally built as a farmhouse, so unfortunately, we do not have an elevator or rooms on the ground floor. However, we always do our best to assist you if you have special needs or requests.
In the winter season, we open our doors for you from Saturday to Saturday, and we pamper you with both breakfast and dinner included in the price. Our skilled chef is passionate about good cooking with a focus on animal welfare, organic ingredients, and local produce. We do not serve traditional Austrian food, but instead offer exciting dishes with plenty of flavor. You will enjoy 6 dinners with a main course and dessert, as the chef takes a well-deserved break on Wednesdays. If you are a wine lover, you can look forward to exploring our small wine list, carefully selected by Trine from Vinskabt, who specializes in unpretentious wines from producers and farmers with their hearts in the right place.
In the summer, you can enjoy a stay of at least three nights, where we provide a delicious and healthy breakfast before you set out on the day's adventures. Although we do not serve dinner in the summer, you will find plenty of good restaurants nearby, and the hotel’s cold drinks are always ready to quench your thirst. We are also working on being able to accommodate dogs during the summer months, so keep an eye on our website for updates.
Our wellness area features a sauna, infrared cabin, fitness room, yoga facilities, and an outdoor terrace. Here you can enjoy the sun and take a refreshing dip in our cold water tub, which provides an adrenaline kick and boosts the body's energy.
Additionally, you can challenge your travel companions to pool, table tennis, air hockey, or simply relax with a good book while breathing in the fresh mountain air.
The hotel offers free WiFi, a ski room with heated boot dryers, and free parking.
