Located in the middle of the majestic Kitzbüheler Alpen, SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental offers an unforgettable winter experience with world-class skiing. With over 90 modern lifts, this is one of Austria's largest and most recognized ski areas.
Our charming hotel is centrally located in the small village of Itter, on a sunny plateau with a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. The hotel is just three minutes from the ski lifts, which you can easily reach with the free ski bus.
In the summer, the area offers a wealth of activities, and the local open-air swimming pool is right opposite the hotel – perfect for a refreshing dip.
At Edelweiss we welcome everyone who wants a cozy base for their mountain holiday. You can even rent the entire glory for special events, corporate outings, sports groups or parties. Do you have an idea for a theme week or another fun event? Do not hesitate to contact us at info@hoteledelweiss.eu.
We have plenty of space and a lock up garage so you are welcome to bring your own sports equipment but please note that the hotel dates back to the 1950's when it was originally built as a farmhouse so unfortunately we do not have a lift or rooms on the ground floor. But we always help as much as we can if you have special needs or wishes.
In the winter season, we open our doors for you from Saturday to Saturday, and we spoil you with both breakfast and dinner included in the price. Our skilled chef Louise is passionate about good cooking with a focus on animal welfare, ecology and local ingredients. We do not serve traditional Austrian food, but instead offer exciting dishes with lots of flavors from all over the world. You get 6 evening meals with main course and dessert, as Louise takes a well-deserved break on Tuesdays. If you are a wine lover, you can look forward to exploring our small wine list, carefully selected by Trine from Vinskabt, who specializes in unsnobbish wine from houses and farmers with their heart in the right place.
In the summer, you can enjoy a stay of at least three nights, where we provide a delicious and healthy breakfast before you set off on today's adventure. Although we do not serve dinner in the summer, you will find plenty of good restaurants nearby, and the hotel's cold drinks are always ready to quench your thirst. We are also working on being able to accept dogs in the summer, so keep an eye on our website for updates.
Our wellness area offers a sauna, infrared cabin, fitness room, yoga facilities and an outdoor terrace. Here you can enjoy the sun and take a refreshing dip in our cold water tub, which gives an adrenaline rush and boosts the body's energy.
You can also challenge your fellow travelers in pool, table tennis or table football, or simply relax with a good book while breathing in the fresh mountain air.
The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, a ski room with a heated boot dryer and free parking.
