Visit one of Denmark's most beautiful and smallest islands.
We recommend our guests to book a stay at Vejrø, which includes food and transport from Kragenæs Harbor to Vejrø Marina.
Vejrø is privately owned and is not connected to the Danish infrastructure. Therefore, as a guest, they will experience complete tranquility and an exclusive island atmosphere, surrounded by beautiful Danish nature.
Hotel Blæsenborg has been renovated into 12 signature suites, with materials of the highest quality. They are luxurious and capture a rustic island style that is relaxing and comfortable. The hotel offers a large living room with sofa group around the fireplace on the ground floor, as well as a dining room and bathroom. Outdoors there is a large sofa and dining tables that can be used by Hotel Blæsenborg's guests.
When they eat at 'farm to table' Restaurant Skipperly, they know where the food comes from. We interpret the raw materials we harvest in nature, the gardens, the greenhouses and the fields. We take great pride in doing as little as possible with the island's raw materials, so that they appear as honest and clean as possible.
Guests arrive on the island via Vejrø's boat, which sails from Kragenæs harbor on Lolland. The crossing takes approximately 30 minutes. The reception contacts our guests before the stay, with instructions about when the boat sails from Kragenæs Harbour. It is also possible to fly to the island via small plane or helicopter. Contact our reception if you arrive in your own plane, or book a taxi flight through Copenhagen AirTaxi.
At Vejrø, guests can experience beautiful Danish nature, explore our large horticulture and see beautiful plants in the orangery. They can meet the animals and hear about Vejrø's history. Use our lovely beaches or light a fire in one of our many fire pits. At Vejrø, the focus is time for presence and relaxation.
Vejrø is an advocate for sustainable green conversion and regenerative island use. We are largely self-sufficient in green energy from our wind turbine and solar cells. In our regenerative agriculture, we treat nature and animals as gently as possible.
