From the outside, Arnkilhus looks much as it always has. We have even kept the kitschy awnings that we simply cannot bring ourselves to take down. Inside, however, it is a different story. The hotel was completely renovated in 2024/2025 and today offers charming, newly refurbished surroundings with a character all of its own, where modern comfort meets the history of the house. Many guests are pleasantly surprised by the contrast between the exterior and what awaits inside.

We offer 12 inviting rooms, all with private bathrooms. Here, you will find a calm and homely base in the middle of the city - whether you are visiting Sønderborg for business, a holiday, or a weekend getaway.
