At 3 PM, arrival and check-in to the rooms. The bar is open and refreshments can be purchased to enjoy in the lounges.
At 5:30 PM, the festively dressed guests gather for a glass of bubbles and delicious canapés. As tradition dictates, His Majesty the King's New Year's speech will be shown on a large screen.
At 6:30 PM, a 3-course New Year's dinner made from seasonal ingredients will be served. Wine ad libitum is included and paired with the menu:
Starter: Halibut on a base of lobster bisque topped with langoustine.
Main course: Beef tenderloin with potato fondant, celery purée, glazed carrots, portobello mushrooms, and bordelaise sauce.
Dessert: White chocolate mousse - meringue, crumble, and sorbet.
After dinner:
Coffee with kransekage in the lounges.
From 10 PM to 2 AM, there is an open bar with drinks, beer, and wine.
The DJ invites everyone to dance in the knights' hall.
At midnight, the new year is welcomed with the ringing of the town hall bells, bubbles, and festive fireworks in the garden.
At 1 AM, late-night snacks.
On New Year's morning, brunch is served from 9 AM to 11 AM.
