At Wittrup Motel, you get a very special experience. We are Denmark's oldest still existing motel, where you can drive your car right up to your room. Here, it buzzes with the spirit of America in the 50's. Several of the rooms are inspired by how it looked here when American Sallie Zimmerhackel and Danish Oscar Wittrup built the motel in 1955.

Our restaurant, Sallie's Restaurant & Snack Bar, is iconic, and many guests come from far away to visit this unique time capsule. Sallie's was the first in Denmark to serve a cheeseburger. It is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On weekends, breakfast changes to a US buffet.
